On the Coat Tails of Fame

We finally made it to the pages of Eye, the world’s leading publication on everything graphics. Flip to the centrefold spread of the Winter 2009 Berlin Special and you’ll find our names in one of the many soap bubbles drifting away from the design life of Erik Spiekermann.

Okay, so the date of our departure from MetaDesign isn’t strictly speaking correct and the birth of Carton LeVert has been pushed forward by nearly five years and relocated to Ireland (we started the office in 1997 in a semi-derelict building in Berlin-Mitte after first founding the design studio Agorá in 1995 with Alessio Leonardi, Harald Welt, and eventually Priska Wollein). But those are mere details that even we find difficult to keep track of the older we get. The main point is, we're famous.
